  • "2001 Red Book on Employment Support" Issued by the Social Security Administration. The new Red Book is a summary guide to SSA support programs for people with disabilities under SSDI and SSI. It is available on the web.

  • AbilityForum.com recently launched a FREE job posting service. The new website and online job center for persons with disabilities provides an area to post and search job openings and resumes in the Job Center. The website also includes a resource center and social support area and is designed to meet accessibility standards.

  • "Americans with Disabilities Act: A Guide for People with Disabilities Seeking Employment" The Social Security Administration (SSA), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) have published a new pamphlet designed for individuals with disabilities who are seeking employment for the first time and may not be aware of their rights under the ADA.

  • AAPD recently formed a partnership with JobOptions.com - an e-cruitment solutions provider. The partnership provides AAPD members with the resources to find employment, including the ability to network with companies in cyberspace and post a resume for recruiters to see. Check out this new site, which is accessible to people with disabilities.
